HOME RUN DERBY (1960) - Think Spring with the “Boys of Summer”!!! Each episode of this short-lived half-hour series pitted two of Major League Baseball’s greatest superstar sluggers of that era against one another, one-on-one, in a contest of hitting power. Hosted by Actor and Baseball Broadcaster Mark Scott. The line-up was stellar, with 19 of MLB’s greatest stars – Including 9 future Hall-Of-Famers – competing, including perennial All-Stars Hank Aaron, Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, and Duke Snider. The winner of each week's "Derby" received $2,000 for his victory and would be invited to come back the next week to swing for the fences (Wrigley Field) against another big-league opponent. Classic personal interviews in between the competition!  Premiered: January 9, 1960; Last Aired: July 2, 1960. NAME OF THE GAME  Vol. 9 - Two ninety-minute episodes from this series which aired from 1968 to 1971.  First, a classic 1971 episode directed by Steven Spielberg!  In Los Angeles 2017, Publisher Glenn Howard (Gene Barry) is suddenly whisked away from his plush office in 1971 and finds himself in a world beneath the Earth's surface, circa 2017. The powers-that-be in this subterranean world refuse to answer Howard's many questions as to what has happened on the surface. Aired 1/15/71. Then, in Appointment in Palermo, Howard (Gene Barry) goes to Italy to research a story, then finds himself mistaken for a Sicilian patriarch. Sea Hunt.  This 1957 to 1961 series was produced by Ivan Tors (“Datkari”). Lloyd Bridges starred as Mike Nelson who hunted down criminals from the undersea world and ran afoul of sharks, manta rays and octopus. Four half hour episodes on each Volume. RARE!

FAMILY CLASSIC  TV Vol.3  DENNIS THE MENACE.  (1959-63) This is the original 1959 CBS live-action situation comedy based on the comic strip by Hank Ketcham. Dennis is portrayed as the helpful menace that always seemed to cause chaos. Dennis Mitchell lived at 627 Elm Street with his parents, Henry and Alice. Next door was his best friend, Mr. Wilson (though the feeling was, certainly, not mutual). We have available all 146 shows.

FAMILY CLASSIC TV Vol.4   THE LIFE OF RILEY.(1953-1958) 1313 Blue View Terrace, Los Angeles , California, the residence of the Riley Family: Chester, a riveter with Stevenson Aircraft; his wife Peggy; and their children, Babs and Junior. Waterfront. Series ran from 1954 to 1956 and featured Preston Foster as the captain of the tugboat, Cheryl Ann. Vintage Rarities. Vol 13. This Volume includes one episode each of Space Patrol and Watch Mr Wizard. Broadcast from 1950 to 1955, Space Patrol provided security for the solar system c. A.D. 3000 and was led by Commander Buzz Cory. This thirty-minute episode is titled “Christmas Story”. The original Watch Mr Wizard series ran from 1951 to 1965. Don Herbert, as Mr Wizard explained the principles of science in this educational series for children.  Viewing quality is Excellent! RARE!

Broken Arrow . Series ran from 1956 to 1958 and starred Michael Ansara and John Lipton. Barbara Stanwyck Theater.  Half-hour dramatic anthology series hosted by, and frequently starring, Stanwyck herself. Four "lost" shows from this 1960-61 series, all starring Stanwyck, on two DVDs to ensure optimum viewing quality. Titles are: "Assassin" (5/15/61)-Peter Falk; "Little Jo" (1960)-Anna Mae Wong (no end credits); "Confession" (2/10/61)-Lee Marvin; "Hitch-Hiker" (5/29/60)-Joseph Cotton. RARE!

Evening With Danny Kaye. Comedian Danny Kaye conducting the New York Philharmonic at Lincoln Center in 1981. The music pieces were played absolutely straight but the moments in between were absolutely hilarious. For pure Danny Kaye fans!  Two hour show.

Ellery Queen (1975). In this fifth TV version of the fictional detective series, Jim Hutton stars with David Wayne as his father. The show employed the device of having Queen address the home audience at the show’s climax to see if they had been as skilful as he in identifying the culprit. The first four sixty-minute episodes are available with two in each Volume.

Van Der Valk. Another rarity from British TV. Series from 1972-1992 features Barry Foster as a detective in Amsterdam , Holland. His caseload brings him into contact with the City’s many subcultures from drug users to sexual perverts. Theme, “Eye Level”, reached #2 on the UK charts in 1972. Six sixty-minute episodes from the 1975 season are available with two episodes in each Volume.

British TV - Volume 2. This DVD includes an episode of Colonel March of Scotland Yard from 1956 hosted by and starring Boris Karloff and titled, "The Silver Curtain". Karloff played a one-eyed master criminologist. Enjoyable for Brit mystery fans in general and Karloff fans in particular. Also included is an episode of Fabian of Scotland Yard from 1954, titled "The Executioner", which dramatized the exploits of the real-life Inspector Fabian and who always ended the show with his personal recollections. And finally, one episode of Scotland Yard, titled "The Grand Junction Case" from 1957. This Volume offers a nice sampler of British vintage 50s crime series. All are thirty-minute episodes.

Twelve O'Clock High. World War II series from 1964-1967 dramatizing the exploits of the 918th Flyer Squadron based in England. The show  starred Robert Lansing, Paul Burke and Frank Overton. Twenty sixty-minute episodes, including the pilot, are available. Two episodes each DVD. Volume discounts!

Hiram Holiday. Talk about a RARE find! Wally Cox, formerly of "Mr. Peepers," starred in this sitcom from 1956 about a newspaper proofreader involved in mistaken identity or international intrigue. Sebastian Cabot costarred in four shows. Four shows are included on one DVD.

Invisible Man. This series from 1975 was the second TV version of H. G. Wells's classic. It starred David McCallum as a research scientist who cooked up a formula which rendered him invisible. This two DVD set includes the ninety-minute pilot and two sixty-minute episodes.

Millionaire. A rare find from the Golden Era! This drama anthology (1955-1960) followed the lives of everyday people given a million dollars by the never-seen John Beresford Tipton through his representative, Michael Anthony. Three shows are included in this DVD. Additional episodes available.

Kolchak: The Night Stalker. Here are the two made-for-tv movies that aired in the early 70s and spun off into a series where reporter Kolchak (Darren McGavin) investigated various supernatural happenings: The Night Stalker and The Night Strangler, each 90 minutes, are included on this DVD.

Horror at 37,000 Feet. Much sought after 1973 made-for-tv movie about an architect flying from London with an altar from an ancient abbey secured in the plane's cargo hold. Also aboard are Buddy Ebsen as a pushy millionaire, William Shatner as a drunken, cynical ex-priest, Tammy Grimes as a nutcase, and Chuck Connors as the lantern-jawed pilot. Crew and passengers come into jeopardy when an invisible demon escapes.

Warner's Private Eyes. Four of Warner Brothers' great detective shows! Then Came Bronson.  Michael Parks starred in this hour adventure series as Jim Bronson, a disillusioned young man riding around the country on his motorcycle. The series lasted one year, from September, 1969 to September, 1970. We have the first four episodes in a two-disc set. RARE!

Banacek. Banacek , a suave, debonair, freelance insurance investigator in Boston , played by George Peppard, takes on the impossible cases. Insurance companies are loath to call on his services for the recovery of lost or stolen insured items but, nevertheless, call on him when they get stuck, as no one else can solve these impossible cases. Sixteen ninety-minute episodes were broadcast between March 20, 1972 and March 12, 1974 under the Wednesday Night Mystery series. Volume 1 contains the Pilot episode while remaining four volumes include two episodes each. RARE! 

Crusader.   Brian Keith starred as Matt Anders, a freelance writer who helped individuals escape from communist nations. Fifty-one episodes were broadcast between October 7, 1955 and December 28, 1956. Four episodes are included.Rare!

The Thin Man.  Half hour crime show based on the film series of the 30s. Starred Peter Lawford as Nick Charles, Phyllis Kirk as his wife Nora and Asta the pet terrier. Sixty-eight episodes were broadcast between September 20, 1957 and August 28, 1959. Four episodes each DVD. RARE!

Lawman.  Half hour western starring John Russell as Marshal Dan Troop and Peter Brown as his deputy, Johnnie McKay. There were 152 episodes broadcast between October 5, 1958 and October 9, 1962 and we have all available. Four episodes each Volume. Very slight intermittent TV logo on prints. RARE!

Vintage Comedy Vol. 1. Two classic shows! This DVD includes the Bob Hope Show and The Life of Riley.   “The Bob Hope Show” is from 1967 and titled "Comedians & Cowboys".  Huge guest list: Don Adams, Steve Allen, Raymond Burr, Perry Como, James Drury, Buddy Hackett, Don Rickles, Dale Robertson, Rowan & Martin, Danny Thomas, Bobbie Gentry and more... “The Life of Riley” series ran from 1949 to 1958.
