We specialize in rare and obscure films which are not readily available in the "retail" market, particularly "film noir", though we stock mainstream titles. All Titles on DVD-R are presumed to be in the "Public Domain". Please let us know otherwise and it will be removed. Thank You!

MITCHELL & KENYON in IRELAND (1902)    RARE!

More than 100 years ago, Filmmakers Mitchell and Kenyon journeyed across Britain and Ireland capturing the everyday lives of regular people. In the early 1990s, 800 rolls of nitrate film were found in sealed barrels. These rolls contained early Edwardian films of real people and street scenes, filmed and stored by the Mitchell & Kenyon Company. This DVD features 26 of those extraordinary films, fully restored and now narrated by Fiona Shaw, made in Ireland between May, 1901 and December, 1902. Wonderful nostalgia for those of us with Irish heritage! Excellent viewing quality as films have been digitally transferred to high quality DVD-R discs to ensure optimum viewing experience. 75 minutes. Extremely Rare!
